Solar and wind power, we love it! We are dedicated to promoting the use of alternative power, and we know how hard it can be to find the right information to get you started. Combine that with the most competitive prices, and good old fashioned customer service, and you can see why we are your one-stop shop for all things solar and wind.

Why use BP Solar modules?

The first and best reason to use BP Solar modules and components (and the reason why we love them!), is that they are Made in Australia! Not only do they produce and manufacture their products right here in Homebush, NSW, but they also produce panels here for export to the rest of the world. Buying BP Solar ensures your money stays in Australia, and creates jobs for more of us.

Another great reason is the security of buying from a reputable dealer. BP are still going to be around to honour your 25 year warranty, something that may not be important now, but can create a lot of hassle 22 years down the track if you need support.

Some of the features of BP Solar modules are:
» Waterproof aluminium frame for all weather conditions
» Tempered glass surface, for extra strength and less reflection
» Junction box to make installation easier
» Silicon nitride coating for high performance in hotter temperatures
» Bypass diodes to reduce voltage drop caused by shade
» Manufactured to all relevant Australian standards
» Backed up by a 25 year limited power output warranty

Not just solar panels and wind generators, we also supply all related products to get you going...

Why go solar or wind?
Alternative energy is getting more popular every day, with the government firmly behind the push for sustainable power, solar panels and wind generators will be common place on houses and farms of all sizes in the near future. It can still be a costly exercise, but the price is coming down every year, and the value of your property will be greatly increased once it is powered by sustainable energy. There are also a number of rebates available for certain systems (installed by a certified installer, and using only brand new batteries). The Australian Government’s Photovoltaic Rebate Programme (PVRP) will give you a rebate of $4.00 per peak watt, capped at $4,000. The rebate will gradually be decreased, possibly to $3.50ppW in the near future, with advance warning given. Get in quick! For more information, visit http://www.greenhouse.gov.au/renewable/index.html . As with any government information, it can be quite confusing but very detailed. BP Solar have their own rebate of 50cents ppW, which is available on any BP Solar module purchase, we can help you with the paperwork on either of these rebates. It always pays to check that you are entitled to the rebate before making any decision. More than just a business, Battery Stop are passionate about renewable energy for the future.
